Quality Engineer at Skruf Snus in Sävsjö

Do you want to work in a role where your contribution makes a significant difference and is crucial for ensuring product quality? We are now looking for a dedicated and analytical Quality Engineer to join our team in Sävsjö, who wants to help ensure that our products maintain the highest quality throughout the production chain.

Your Mission

As a Quality Engineer, you play a vital role in creating products that are safe, sustainable, and meet the expectations of the factory and customers. You work systematically and closely with production to identify problems, drive improvement efforts, and ensure that quality routines are followed. The role involves extensive collaboration with several departments and external partners and is central to the factory's work on continuous improvements.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that safety and quality requirements are met through inspections, testing, and quality controls.
  • Monitor the production cycle and work proactively to detect deviations in time.
  • Drive problem-solving and suggest improvements that strengthen our processes and quality work.
  • Calibration of equipment and follow up on quality goals and key performance indicators.
  • Update and actively work in the quality management system (QMS).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and customer requirements.

You are a role model for quality focus and food hygiene, actively contributing to improving product quality by developing routines, methods, and working practices. The goal is to ensure that the snus is safe and of the right quality. You report to the Quality and Environmental Manager.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in quality work who is driven to create structure, improve processes, and contribute to high quality. We believe you have an interest in machinery and work experience from production. Ideally, you are educated as a mechanical engineer or production developer and want to further develop in quality. As a person, you are analytical, communicative, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role where you collaborate with many different functions.

Requirements:

  • Experience from a similar role in the manufacturing industry or equivalent education
  • Understanding of technical documentation and statistical analysis
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Green Belt certification in LEAN or Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
